Sure that's cool for range toys, but if I were a racecar driver I wouldn't practice with a different car then I raced. I like to practice how I play and I feel practicing with two different platforms would be detrimental- especially with the different grip angle between the two. That doesn't mean I can't adapt and shoot either well, but I feel better served choosing one. Of course...training doesn't mean anything anyway so I guess I shouldn't careOriginally posted by wickedblkgt View PostIf your a good shooter, it doesn't matter what platform you use. I shoot the same with my 23/M&P/1911. Good shooters learn to adapt and not bitch about the grip angle? Just saying.

the 1911, Sigs, Walthers, Springfields, S&W, Beretta, HK, etc. all share a similar grip angle making sight alignment similar for all of them. I can shoot fine with a Glock, but thanks to the grip angle with any other gun in my hand in a similar position I'd be shooting at the ground. I know Glock fan boys won't ever admit it, but the Glock grip angle is a colossal fuck up. It is the sole reason I will never own one again. I can literally pick up any pistol besides a Glock point and shoot in the dark and nail a target center of mass at close range without looking at the sights, except for a Glock....Originally posted by wickedblkgt View PostIf your a good shooter, it doesn't matter what platform you use. The Glock may be the most ingenious handgun ever made for a lot of reasons, but the grip angle is pure shit. I've read the book and about his experiments with two sticks in his basement. Well drunken European Army execs shouldn't be allowed to select pistol specifications in some guys basement with not one firearm present. It's a an amazing story how a machinist broke into the firearms industry. He nearly got it all right.... all except for one major detail.

Most ingenious handgun handgun design? Its uses John Browning's 100+ year old short recoil tilting-barrel operation, a polymer frame pioneered by HK, and a striker. Nothing about the gun is or was ground breaking.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

Certainly has a lot of features for a sub $600 gun. Patrick and I shot the hell out of the demo/t&e unit HK sent me and we liked it.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

I'd like one in another color than black.
