Well, THF shows guys are killing it. That's good news. Anyone here have anything to report?

We definitely had some birds this morning. My aim sucks though...i left with 3 birds, probably missed 5 and the rest were out of range. I'm hoping to get a better spot this evening.

I havnt went out yet. Ive got my limit of two boxes of shells and i havnt shot my shotgun since last season.

I should go 15 for 15 lmao.

I would go with a single shot 20 gauge. That's what I started with at a young age and so will my grandson. He will get my first .22 and revolver just as I received from my grandpa. All of my first guns came from him.

Haha, I was kinda thinking the same thing. He was basing that info from a time they went to lake Lewisville and asked about shooting snakes, while fishing, with a bb gun and the guy said no. I think the guy was a warden.

Did some scouting this evening...it looks promising for tomorrow.

A question came up with a buddy if mine... I was planning to take a bb gun so the kids can shoot cans during the slow times but he said the warden will ticket you for that. Anyone know if that's true?

whoever said that shouldn't be giving advice.

I can't think of a single thing that would cause you to get a ticket for that.
