I thought you couldn't shoot them until the first. Are they opening it up early?

My grandfather used his for skeet and had all the gauges and a model 42 410....my cousin ended up with the 28 ga and has no idea how rare that gun is....probably rusting in his closet

I started hunting with a model 12 in 20 gauge that had a bent barrel. Apparently it was the thing to do for skeet shooting back in the day.

I'm ready… It's gonna suck though because i lost my dog to lymphoma in April and he won't be out there with me. I had him cremated and i'm spreading his ashes on the same field we always hunt on opening day.

Just a Mossberg SA-20, to get me through the rest of college. I'll get a swankier gun when I'm gainfully employed.

I bought a dirt-cheap dove getter today. I've got like 6 possible places to hunt, and I've got a bunch of ammo. I'm pretty fired up about it.

Academy has some 250 for $54 Winchester, and Rio was $62 I think. Not bad prices.

Surprisingly they're at Dicks Sporting Goods. $7 a box, buy 4 and get the 5th free. No limit.

I'm still looking for better deals locally but this is the best I've found.

Sunflowers are about three and a half feet tall in my shooting spot. They're local but could have got my limit today. Lots of dove around Whitney.

That's a good deal. They're likely to just be 1oz target load for that price, but you can for sure kill doves with that.
