        Since we are only shooting to 300yds, and I plan to come in last anyway, I'm half tempted to use my CZ 527 in 7.62x39... Only about 24" of drop at 300...

          I'll likely be using my 7mm08 Ackley which is a +16lbs rifle. I thought about using my 30-06 but it's kinda brutal on the shoulder after just few rounds much less 50.

            I had my 7-08 sighted at 100 and had barely any drop at 300 last year..didn't adjust or hold for shit...maybe that's why I came in last, lol

              Everyone ready for the shoot tomorrow? I got my scope back from Vortex so I'll be using my Savage .308 for the match...

                    Finished loading ammo for the comp and side betting after last night. We are heading out pretty early as it's a little over a 2hr drive for us.

                            Gonna be cold in the morning and also Jason mentioned it's very muddy. Make sure you wear clothes/boots that you don't mind getting muddy.
