Even with chew marks? It's my understanding that they only warranty factory defects, not scratches or other owner mis-haps.

Sat on and broken works, at least for frames. Not sure about a lense with a hole in it. I'd call and ask though.

LOL... Ya, my first set was back in like 1990. I was living in San Bernardino, CA (Highland) at the time and Oakley was a big, local success. I think it came out of Orange County or somewhere. I got a set of M Frames that were the shit at the time, but looking back, those lenses were HUGE! Kinda like the Denzel pic.

I get the basic M Frames, matte black, but with the smaller, tapered lens. They are comfortable, clear, durable and provide adequate protection. I get them for roughly $60 through US Standard Issue (military discount). My eyes are worth more than that.

I've been wearing Oakleys since high school (yes, they had them back then), and I don't think I'll wear anything else until these either fail me or something proves better all around.

what's the big point in Oakleys? they look like any other sunglasses, they crush like any other sunglasses. Made cheaply and marked up like everything else in the world. Pretty much like a $99 Monster HDMI cable that has an actually cost of $3.02. Ha!

I'm sure that somebody has already said this, but unless you've owned a pair of Oakleys you wouldn't understand. Seriously, the lenses are SOOOOO much clearer than cheap sunglasses. Their polarized lenses are the shit. Pretty much always the perfect amount of shade. It's literally like watching a blu-ray VS a DVD.

damn i just looked on oakleys website and the cheapest pair they had, that i would wear, were $80!

glad i just got a pair of ray ban aviators(gold too!) for a 12pk of beer. which of course i drank a few...

i only wear them when i am driving, other than that they just sit there in the car. if it's sunny out and if i remember i will wear them but mostly just sit in the car

Actually it doesnt have to be military. As long as there Fire/EMS, Military, Police, Fed; they can open an account with the correct creditionals. So, if you have any friends that are any of those careers, ask em!

FYI, a military ID that expired a month ago WILL NOT work.
