I think women forget that. Yes, it is a risk for a woman to have her kids meet the man she is dating, but it is also a big deal for the man in the sense he is taking some risk introducing himself to a child he may end up having feelings for or vice versa.

It sucks for both sides if things don't work, that's why I've never introduced mine to anyone that wasn't a serious relationship. It may not be guaranteed, but it's not as much of a risk.
I actually still get my ex-boyfriend's daughter on a regular basis. She's even spent the night with us several times.
