Tough to argue with that. I'm fully expecting to not enjoy the race itself as much while I'm there, but from everyone I've talked to the atmosphere is well worth it. I also needed to get in a race before they switch to the god-awful V6s in 2014 (which even Bernie himself said sound terrible) and what little of the panache that exists is gone.

Ecclestone and Montemezelo both have voiced their displeasure with the sound of the new engines and how they think they'll negatively affect viewership. Combined with the fact that the new engines will send operating costs through the roof at a time when cost cutting is being pushed so hard (although, when isn't it?), there's a chance that they'll scrap them. Ferrari would, but I don't know how Mercedes and Renault would feel about that after they've sunk however much into development already.
