you're right about that for sure. this place is fairly quiet compared to when we roll north. goin up there is when we definitely have our game faces on. got many stories about that already lol. its pretty cool that you hear about stuff around here

I am everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I have been to over 34 COPs/FOBs/Camps/Air Fields etc in theater covering a span of 54 months. That does not include my trips to numorous OPs and other little neat holes. The place you are at is the place Junger jumped from to document Restrepo.

lol well, i can tell you this. NO SLACK, (our battalion) has already been noted as the most kickass unit here in afghanistan. yea i know thats usually what they say to ALL the units here jus to cheer them up, but im here to tell you, THE EVIDENCE makes it TRUE. many, MANY high ranking "folks" have been here for all reasons, because they know how badass of a job we,, NO SLACK are doing here. i'll give you a light touchup of the situation without takin it too far.... we have done MORE in the past 6 months that ANY previous units have done while in this area. we have killed MORE in 6 months than other units killed in a year, hell, TRIPLE that amount. valley by valley, dirtbag by dirtbag, we are takin out the trash and DEFINITELY making our mark for the good here. AM I WRONG COBRA??? we dont fuck around here.

There was some support battalion that tagged "No Slack" on their T-Wall in Tallil in 2008. Of course, I had to go ask, and they said they were a different "No Slack." I just wanted to make sure we were talking about the REAL No Slack.

I seemed to always get barracks desk duty on Christmas and New Years. Sucks being a single Marine back in those days. Now at least when I have to work on holiday's I am getting paid (more than a E4 under 4).
