I think the main issue is the guys lack of humility in the situation, and that he is aggressively driving his only means of transportation after bellyaching on the board about how he cannot work and needs help with some things.

I can understand needing to get out from under a car before SHTF, but to talk about it like you're a used car dealer that is wheeling and dealing is a little much.

kyle is a good person from what i've gathered from our limited dealings and what i've seen on this board. he did this guy a solid favor and even if this guy isn't showing the humility we'd like to expect that doesn't take away from the fuzzy feeling kyle should have at all. big props to kyle and those who donated to this guy.

But yet he's looking at a 94 LT1 Firebird. If I was announcing publicly what horrible money shape I was in...I would be looking for Honda Civics, older Prelude's, maybe Accords, Camry's, Solara's...cars that got good gas mileage....but he's looking at Turbo DSM's, big Acura's, supercharged GTP's and Regals, LT1 F bodies?

I was afraid this was going to happen. When you were here picking up the donor car your buddy made a reference a couple of times to flipping one of the two cars. I lost my ass on that deal and was trying to help you out. Now I feel like I was taken advantage of as well.

Ok, thats a bit aggervating that you feel that way. I appreciate the help but some things cant be helped. You told me earlier that day I went to get parts that you would sell that Regal to ANYONE for $350. I was able to get $300 together and you accepted. If you feel burnt then I will gladly come up and pay you $50 more or PP you $50. I dont want any hard feelings here.

After the motor swap I discovered the trans was failing as well. I didnt want to take the 98 trans and install it for a few reasons. One being I was sick of working on the car. Second was the 98 trans was on its way out too. Cooked trans fluid and its diff was making noise and the axle would bind when turning in a parkinglot. I first thought I could recoupe some funds by selling parts off the 98 like the trans (had a thought that a fluid and filter change would make it better) but feel karma is a bitch and didnt want to screw anyone over so instead of selling the trans to a guy on here for $225 I let it go to the JY with the car for $200.

I DID NOT MAKE ANY MONEY ON THE SALE. I lost out over $350 on this car but knew it was time to cut my losses. Car needed more then I had to give so I dumped it.

So NOW I have to get an even cheaper car, fix it up a little and try to flip it just so I can get to where I was the day before the Regal blew up.



Again Kyle if you feel shorted for selling the car to me for $50 less then you would have sold it to someone else then I would like to correct that and send you $50.

The blue Mark VIII in the background is my buddies 93. It needs a motor, brakes, radiator and gear selector. Car has had a rough life and since I have already installed two other motors in it I didnt wanna screw with that car any more.

Well, you did have the red one on craigslist for $600, so I can see how Kyle would be a touch pissed off. Again though, Kyle could have gotten a whole lot more for that car had he put some effort into it, there was a price set that both parties agreed on. I don't see how it's anyone's business on what you did with the white one.
