Anyway, I was feeling old the other day as I was thinking how all new cars look alike except the few that look just like they did 40+ years ago.
But J&B used to run ads years ago about how life is cyclic and how what once was will be again. So may as well keep drinking J&B. LOL

You may be right about loss of creativity as Mark Twain says so eloquently. Still, we have successfully "tele-ported" atoms. Yeah, like in Star Trek. So we're just putting the technological spin on our creativeness from last century.
The 20th century was the greatest man kind has ever seen, so it will be hard to top. We will hold on to it for another generation, but then the new minds will really start to cut a new path.

Read your title and last question. Thats what the responses about technological creation refer to.

We're all ignorant in our own little ways. I don't understand modern computer technology worth a shit, I know how it works, but I don't know why nor do I care to. But I can take a pile of parts and metal and some tools and make shit that will amaze you.

Statistically speaking, I am smart in my respective fields, and good at what I do. When it comes to art, English, and history, I am ignorant as you can probably tell.
I do however think that with a better understanding of what the op is tryin to say, his mind will change. I can tell by the mention of flight, which is a relatively new development. I am also posing that creativity is not just a function of art or music or what have you

The majority of the posts I read from you involve some sort of derision or remark about how you know more than the OP. Are you really that smart, or just pretend to be on the internets?
FYI, I do recall you saying something about you being an engineer of some sorts, so we can just leave that alone, no need to throw that in my face or anything.

2 or 3, whatever the fuck number were on) show me where I called him stupid. Oh right...it didn't happen. It is obvious that he doesn't know enough of the fine details with technology to see the creativity. Pointing that out is not wrong, unless the other person gets offended too easily. I prefer to be corrected when I'm wrong so I don't walk around looking like a moron. How you take it is entirely up to you.
