It works for a period of time, as long as the demand is there and the inflation is brought it with controlled methods (the Fed's job). But the demand is leaving and the Fed dun got stupid with the formulas.

We have a badass opportunity to prep for this while we can.

It will work as long as they have the interest of the whole economy in mind. How can the be controlled? The Fed is a private organization with no (basically) congressional oversight.

Trying to create something out of nothing can't be done by man. Think of all the failed fiat currencies of the past. It doesn't work. For me, it entrusts too much power to the "makers" of the currency. On a whim they could destroy the entire wealth of a nation!!!!
