Those are two of the more flattering pictures I've seen of her. Most make her look like she's got a cro-magnon brow.

Not really. I'm just a RN and don't know much having worked around both and all, but from the education to the field, they are very much different.

He was saying which was a higher form of another, EMT-Paramedic RN-NP. You cannot become a NP without first being a RN. You can become a PA in 2 years with a psychology degree.

I'm referring to their job responsibilities, privileges, and pay. I work in medical staffing and 99% of our mid-level jobs are totally interchangeable between a PA and an NP. The facilities will take either, give them the exact same duties, and pay them the exact same amount. If one leaves, we can replace with the other. There are some states where one or the other requires less or no physician supervision, but it doesn't come up often.

Also, it is possible to become an NP without ever being an RN, depending on the state and path chosen.
