Lift-throttle understeer? That's one I've never heard of.

/\ lol! I dont screw off at all anymore. I guess I just got old. I did testdrive a modded 03 M3 a while back and that car forced you to abuse it. Out of all the cars I have driven over the year, that car makes you feel like the stig(yes I hate admiting that).

If you are truly interested in doing an event, look up the local HPDE events at the various tracks in the state. You will get hooked....trust me!
I'm pretty sure the OP was describing 'exhibition' driving skills, instead of true 'getting from one place to another in the fastest time possible' driving skills.

When I had my Z06 I drifted it daily in the parking lot at my work. A couple nice switchbacks and an island to go around on the way to my parking spot. It's funny now that I drive a TL for a daily the parking lot looks much smaller and I think 'there's no fucking way I could drive like that in here'.
Before anybody accuses me of being a dangerous asshole, the parking lot was very long and there are several buildings where the companies closed up shop and nobody works or parks there. No pedestrians or parked cars where I did this.

I'm too terrified to wreck my Mustang and it only 1 wheel peels so it is only left hand drifting in that thing. Then my truck has maybe 100hp and severe wheel hop. No fun in that thing. I use to rape the shit out of my 5.0 and am surprised I'm still alive.
I can get mine sideways if it is raining.....1 tire fire

Lol, all my crazy driving was done in a Honda civic.

The coupe is unstable as fuck.
