I hate that. Pitbulls are no different than any other dog when you raise them the same way. My girlfriend adopted a 2 year old female and she has been the most affectionate and loving dog I have ever encountered. I'm assuming that whoever did it had a bad experience as Mike said.

Any dog can be made to look scary. Had a game of "tickle your toes" with my rottie that would make him look pretty nasty, but he never would do anything. I agree that it's probably someone that suffered a loss, but it doesn't justify killing someones pet. It just about killed me when Ryan died and I knew the cause, if someone did it, I don't know how I would react.
