The two white dogs they showed on this morning's news sure looked like boxers. They weren't pit bulls.

All that really matters is that they were dogs. Sucks for the kid.

I have one, some people I know had them when I was growing up, I've never personally heard of one being aggressive at all. Even though mine did play with a cat last year in the backyard until it stopped making noise and moving, heh.

any pitt or mix that even looks remotely like a pit or has 4 legs and ears should get shot!!!

I've had to feed my boot to quite a few boxers. I've seen some jump or climb 12' fences. They're very high energy animals, and if the owner doesn't help them burn that energy, they can get mean.
