My biggest fear as a dog owner is that they may harm a child.

They are the sweetest things and I love them dearly, but they are still animals and can do unexpected things.

never, ever leave an animal unsecured or without supervision around small children.

    Doesn't matter what breed.

That is odd. The boxers that I have been around have been psychotically protective of children, even ones that they don't know. Never heard of one hurting a child before.

The story has been "updated" since I posted it, and Fox has changed their tune from the original report.

LAKE WORTH, Texas - A child was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after being attacked by at least four dogs.
The incident happened in the 7800 block of Eastland Avenue near Lake Worth in Tarrant County.
According to neighbors, an 18-month-old boy somehow managed to get into his family’s backyard where there were four boxers and several other dogs. The dogs bit him around the head and face.
The neighbors said the boy was in pretty bad shape when he was taken by ground ambulance to Cook Children’s Medical Center.
