but I've seen a few very dominant ones at the park. They also tend to get mixed up with other dogs because they're so playful and instigating, they can piss other dogs off

one of the worst fights/attacks I've seen was a pit-bull that latched onto a boxer because the boxer pup kept getting in its face wanting to play and the pitt had enough of it

Yeah, I'm sure there are exceptions to every breed. Just in my experience. My boxer was even scared of Lola when she was 8 weeks old, mostly because she kept trying to pull on her collar.
