I wear one on rare occasions. Meeting new clients or getting dressed up for a nice dinner.

Tag Heuer for work, G Shock rest of the time.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

most people don't seem to recognize watches...there are just too many people making similar watches that they can't tell, i guess. i can walk around with my breitling chronomat and submariner, and nobody will ever ask...hell, most people don't even know what a breitling is, even if they do ask about it. the only one that people really know is my day/date...but that's only because it stands out a little too much. really, even then, they don't know what the brand is immediately; they just want to see it.Originally posted by talisman View PostI'd like to get an expensive slightly obscure watch to use as a barometer while dating.
