Not sure how you're gonna do that for your whole family with $2500, but more power to ya. I spent $1200 on myself for that trip, and that was with a multi-person 5 day package.Originally posted by Leah View PostSo how worried should I be about booking an all-inclusive to Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya area? Would we be safe enough if we wanted to take them on a few tours (like the pyramids, etc)?
Passports were $45 a couple of years ago.
I would definitely be talking to a real travel agent, not a bunch of boring brokedicks on DFWM.

Now that Americans are hardcore Cartel targets, they're hurting for tourism and pricing vacations CHEAP.Originally posted by 46Tbird View PostNot sure how you're gonna do that for your whole family with $2500, but more power to ya. That's a great deal, obviously. My $1200 was for the entire trip - airfare, hotel, excursions, food/drink away from the resort, tips, souvenirs, etc.Originally posted by Leah View PostI have never paid more than $500/pp to go to an all-inclusive in Mexico. Not gonna lie. I would be nervous as fuck, especially with kids in tow. You would be so distracted trying to look after them and look over your shoulder, having fun anywhere outside of the resort property would be tough.Originally posted by Leah View PostSo how worried should I be about booking an all-inclusive to Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya area?

My oldest son and his two kids and wife have been there twice in the past few years and have really enjoyed it. They drive over and back. Plenty of things for the kids to do. They stay in a time share condo they found from some friends.Originally posted by turboford View PostOrange Beach Alabama is a good place. ......Mustangs previously owned:

The $2k includes drinks and everything-on a cruise, we'd be gambling and drinking some and that would make it over that. Plus, my son gets seriously sea sick so he has absolutely no desire to go on a cruise.Originally posted by Goose View PostIf i was going to spend that much $2k i would just go on a cruise.Token Split Tail

Maybe it's because I am naive, but from everything I've read the Playa area/Cozymel area are actually pretty safe. My only concern is traveling to an excursion.Originally posted by Tyrone Biggums View PostNot gonna lie. I would be nervous as fuck, especially with kids in tow. Actually if you go there, you have to go to Xel Ha. Worth the trip, guaranteed. One word of caution, you would have to ride down a road that I believe is rated the most dangerous road in Mexico. That would be of some concern, but google Xel Ha, and you will probably see why most people go.sigpic18 F150 Supercrew - daily
