You know, I came to a realization today, you never realize how much you cuss until you have a kid. They really do decide to repeat the wrong words.
Yup...I'm not saying MINE, but someone's 2 y/o is saying "sh*t" and those parents are trying to play it off as "ship" to those that they can - while breaking that habit and getting the responsible parent off that word.
Still think there should be a warning, or courtesy of asking someone to stop. I've gotten loud and/or drunk and was offending people, but hushed up once I knew it.
Get excited and cuss - but the cussing is not really necessary. At least for me.

It does shed some light on why dumbasses at sporting events get taken out of the stands. I didn't really think it was a law, but it is good to know.

Yes you can. Once a person is offended its a violation.
.. and how can that be enforced? Cop comes out, stories are exchanged, cop does nothing but gets all hot and bothered that he had to get out of his cruiser because some overly sensitive vag couldn't take care of his own business.
Or wait an hour for a cop to show, offender is long gone... LOL

Yeah, a few of us were getting dirty looks about the explicit convo we were having at the bar at Mariano's a few weeks ago. I had my back to them, so I was oblivious to the guy hanging out in a bar with his two young children at 9pm on a weekend. Whoops.
That generally makes sense. Always was curious about that. What I don't mind hearing when it's just the wife and I are totally different than when my kiddos are around.
Of course, watch your surroundings and where you go helps with that too.

So, how does that work. Does it have to be directed at you before you can call the police? If I am standing in line somewhere and some guy is constantly dropping the F bomb around my kid, can I make a call?

You can get in trouble just for telling someone (publicly) to go fuck theirself, along with a few other choice words. Cost me $359 to learn that lesson.
