The new Stangs are really nice cars and are light years from foxbodies and SN95's. The car is so damn quiet it's hard to tell it's running sometimes and I kinda like it, I must be getting old! lol.

It's just a new daily driver, not a race car like yours.

mine is super quiete in side and still gets 24-25 mpg on the freeway.. So docile that even the wife can drive it.. hardely a race car

im not looking to set records.. it will be a nice conservative setup and still be very docile

Well, I picked up a 2012 Sterling Grey Premium GT last night. I really like the 13's, but with the motor changes on the 13's not being so boost friendly and the great prices on 12's right now it was just too hard to pass up for a fun/cheap daily.

naaa.. did a Baby blower.. and realised that i wanted more .. so i put in a small blower to replace the baby blower...

motor is still fine.. but its at the edge of what a stock LS motor can make.. happened to have another motor laying around so will drop it in.

the stocker is still fine.. but might as well sell it while i can pull some money out of it.

I like the new front, personally. And the only thing I don't like about the new rear is the plastic inserts around the LP.

well im shooting for 950ish rwhp.. which isnt really pushing my motor/blower combo really hard..

Roger-that...sounds badass! I assume you're stepping up to a 418, 427, or one of those similar kits?

Either way sounds like it's going to be getting the job done....~950 should be hauling the mail just fine.

combo should be good to 1100ish.. so 950 is really not a " max effort" build.. just want it Docile and reliable.

Steve, I just remembered I wanted to tell you that as quiet as they are inside, they're still pumping engine compartment sound into the passenger cabin. Look at the hose coming off of your CAI. It runs right into the passenger compartment so you can hear the roar of your new 5.0! Isn't that hilarious? I think i'm going to remove mine if I ever do an aftermarket CAI.

I like that feature, it only seems quiet. Have someone else take off a little aggressive while you listen and you'll see that it is pretty loud, its just hard to hear since the exhaust is at the back of the car.
I removed the foam going to the firewall, there are three I left two on and it sounds better, I tried it in several different ways and this way was best for me.

I filled mine with a paper towel. lol
