Chip's and Snuffers are pretty much the same burger in my opinion. Overly salted, and not much meat taste to them. Better than a fast food burger, but nothing I'd go out of my way to get.

LMAO, I can't believe Whataburger is hanging in there. I guess that either means they are pretty good for a chain, or people are defaulting to it because they haven't had the other choices.

I like Stan's in The Colony, Chip's off of Lover's Lane is good. Kenny's in Plano is good, but damn it's expensive for what you get. Hole in the Wall was awesome - sorry their gone.
Snuffer's actually makes a really good burger- for a fast food burger it's Whataburger or Smashburger. As mentioned, Kincaids is dry & tasteless - althought thier fries & onion rings are awesome.

I'm not a blue cheese fan so I can't give an opinion on that burger. Check their board too, they have some one off specials a lot.

I grew up off of Park Springs, and spent a lot of time there growing up, still go whenever I am in S. Arlington, it also helps that they have the best fried pickles ever... IMOOriginally posted by Tyrone Biggums View PostToo many locals have been going there since the beginning for it to die. I think it's the classic formula for a neighborhood bar and grill. It's crammed full of local sports history, it's very convenient to get to for a lot of well established neighborhoods that have, for the most part, stood the test of time against turning to shit, it's family friendly, I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't like, it's priced for the blue-collar worker to be able to afford to take his family out to a fun dinner on Friday or Saturday night, more tv's than you can count. I think the most impressive feat they've accomplished in standing the test of time and competition is that they, unlike several restaurants in the area, have survived the blow the Highlands has dealt the area. Even some of the eateries in the Highland's have gone under. I think that says a lot.
If you haven't been in a long time, you need to go. Give me some notice and I'll meet you there.
