Hot Rod Power Tour roll call

I'm still on the fence. John is wanting to do Drag Week, and we had fun last year in Tulsa at the last stop for DW. I'd like to drive the wagon on Drag Week in the daily driver class if I didn't ride with John in the Malibu.

I'm thinking about ditching the 3.73's for a 3.23 and I wouldn't feel bad about cruising that long at 65-70mph, but if the pace is 80 it would be too much.

i also need to grab a set of 28" real street tires (got an extra set of pro-stars now.

I guess it depends on what car I take (69 vs Fairmont) but the 69 doenst like 80 either, especially not for a long cruise. Im planning 3.73 swap before then anyways, but still. The Fairmont will do 130 pretty easy, so 70-80 isnt a big deal in it either way.

Come on we had a good time last year! Dad just picked up a 2013 GT we are debating on taking it over the super bee.

Tough choice considering the comfort in the '13 but I'd have still have to buzz the bee!

I was just thinking about this earlier this morning. Probably HRPT most likely won't be headed back through DFW for another ten years. I'm really hoping I can make some of the trip. Might break off in Memphis and head up to see family in Middle Tennessee though.
