Im sure the cops here will agree, but man working on the highway its getting more scary everyday. People drive into lane closeurs all the time and not realize it.

Actually in general (and I hate to say it) I wish cops enforced everything better in construction zones. I also wish they keep "construction zone" to where workers are actually present.

I generally do the speed limit in c-zones and end up with people acting like I'm doing 20 under the speed limit. I rarely/never see cops enforcing speed limits or even in the area. Many times I felt this would be the best place to speed since you never see cops there. Maybe at the beginning or very end, but never in the middle.

...and yeah, texting in a construction zone is retarded. It seems to me that some construction zones are getting harder and hard to navigate (between uneven, narrow lanes, tighter turns and such). Texting can/will cause accidents there.

Plus, I've seen people do stupid shit to construction workers. (throwing stuff out windows at them..etc) With no cops there to do anything about it.

I have a hard time thinking anyone could get a ticket for texting while walking on a public sidewalk.

Texting while walking in downtown FTW is a problem. People frequently step off the curb against the light while walking. I almost hit a guy last week for doing it. If I hadn't been paying attention, he would have taken a ride on my buddy bumper.

To bad you can't give all the stupid fucking bitches that text and drive or put on make up and drive!
