I see why they enforce the law... I for one wish they would inforce the texting and driving.

Im sure the cops here will agree, but man working on the highway its getting more scary everyday. People drive into lane closeurs all the time and not realize it.

One of my coworkers parked the sign truck (f450) down in a ditch line and had a trailer hooked up. Guy driving a van dropped his cell phone leaned down to get it and hit the trailer, sign truck and flipped his van a few times.

I myself almost got hit by a mansfield cop in his cop car cause he was texting, then could hear him yell for me to watch out. I had strobes and cones out on a straight away.

These same people cant barely walk and text let alone drive and text.

GO to the mall on a weekend and try and walk around with all the people texting not paying attention.

Now Im guilty of texting and driving but I try and keep it to a min.

There is a lot of people out there who are way too attached to their phones these days. If you can't go for a drive without checking your phone or at least wait to where you going to to text/call back, you might have an issue. lol.

How can you tell that a city is not only desperate for money but ran by fucking morons? Tickets like this. How can shit like this even stand up in a court of law?

That would take a hell of alot of charges; you'd have to set them in NJ, Illinois, Massesuchetts, California, and Mexico, just to name a few. The man hours alone would be enormous. The better solution would be to nuke them from orbit; it is really the only way to be sure.

I don't trust how people report the "news".

You're a fool if you don't think it will spread.

I have a hard time thinking anyone could get a ticket for texting while walking on a public sidewalk.

Texting while walking in downtown FTW is a problem. People frequently step off the curb against the light while walking. I almost hit a guy last week for doing it. If I hadn't been paying attention, he would have taken a ride on my buddy bumper.
