I'll tell you what I know from personal experience. Texas divorce settlements RARELY, if ever grants alimony. Divorce judges see adultry cases day in, day out & don't care. Texas is a community property state, which means everything acquired during the marriage is split 50/50. There is a provision for the adulterous party getting 45%. So unless thier wealthy, the extra 5% won't cover the cost of the PI.
And screwing your neighbors wife? Probably the stupidest thing you,ve ever done.

From what I have seen judge's could careless about infidelity when it comes to divorce. Custody is a different story. The judge that I deal with is very interested in what each parent is doing.Originally posted by Leah View PostStill doesn't matter. That's not grounds to take children away from a parent.
I must have sat in on several dozen family court hearings when I was trying to decide on my attorney. One thing that was clear to me is there are are just some people (men and women alike) that are just not suited to be parents.
