Yup, got an E420 foe sale $2000 below book. Dude calls me up on the 22nd at 6 am asking for directions. I give them and set a time. He asks if the price is firm and I say pretty much. He does not show, whatever. Get a call last night at 11pm saying he drove up from Austin to see the car, saw it, drove back and is offering $600 below my asking. I offer up a $300 discount and tell him that's it and being the car is in a locked yard all he saw was the drivers side, if he saw the interior or drove it he wouldn't lowball me. He responds with "But $3900 is all I have" ..... then WTF are you looking at a $4700 listing for?

I got an interesting 'tard looking at my bike the other night. Called at 1:30am, wanted to come out first thing in the morning, and works 2nd shift. Didnt answer when I called him back. Called me again at 10:30 and was pissed off that I had a 9-5 and couldnt meet him in the morning.
Comes out at 11pm friday, looks at my bike, all the while complaining about the headaches of people on CL. I have my bike priced almost a grand cheaper than the others listed, it has a few more miles and isnt perfect, and that is stated in my add. He looks at it, runs it, dicks around for 20 mins, asks for my bottom dollar, and I asked him to make me an offer. He fiddles around and says he doesnt want to insult me. Finnaly he pops off a number way too low to even say with a straight face, and I told him we were way too far apart. He dicked around for another 15 mins before I finnally said "what are we doing here?'
I guess he was looking for a friend. He just shook my hand and got back in his truck.
