It's simple, if you pull over 100 people and beat the shit out of and heavily fine 9 individuals (while ticketing the other 91), you can state with certainty that you've increased the return on investment by 9% and can fund the pension.

LOL, once you get there and meet a couple more Americans mention this site and see how many people took the idea, sounds great to me and I have been looking for a nice country to retire to.Originally posted by talisman View PostI've done a bit of looking, and it is at the forefront of my short list of countries I'd consider relocating too. It would be pretty hard to get me out of DFW, because this area has so much to offer. But every once in awhile those beaches call to me.
Hell, get in a position now to eliminate any debt and once all family is pretty much gone other than your current generation, LEAVE!! lol

Trust me on this, when you get away and turn down all the noise that DFW has to offer you have time to think and slow down. Coming back has been quite a shock to the system, as have the hoards of shitty drivers.Originally posted by talisman View PostI've done a bit of looking, and it is at the forefront of my short list of countries I'd consider relocating too. You guys stop cluttering up the thread; I need the good officer to come in and explain the mechanics of pension accounting to me.

So many choices so close (relatively) to the U.S.... I might have to scratch the phillipines of my list...

About where I am at.Originally posted by sc281 View PostHeck, Talk about simplistic, as long as I've got a hut on the beach I don't even need a/c or any of that. Just get me a charter boat and give tours and go fish, and have spendin money for a night of partyin' and enough room to take a lady back to and I'm set.

Living conditions are considerably more simplistic than the average DFW (Garland, Oak Cliff, Greenville excluded). I've heard that St. Croix is the whiter side of the islands and the recent layoffs will have properties going for cheap. We will likely end up in St. Thomas where we have more friends.
Women are plentiful!!! There is a fresh batch with every cruise ship!

Belize is where to go, english speaking, still under the crown, and it's cheap as shit there. Only problem is it's also really poor there. Last time I was there the city was fairly reasonable, prices were cheap - but the culture is largely agrarian and people literally live in huts and shacks. On the coast the land is cheap. A half acre w/ house literally on the coast will run you about 250k. And your neighbor will be the President, he lives in a little 1800sq ft house right on the coast in a little neighborhood.Originally posted by talisman View PostDon't rule Belize out.
