What are your retirement plans?

I'm banking on my 1980's collection of baseball cards to increase in value.
seriously, we've been paying off debt, with hopes to start paying down our house quick. If I can't retire early, then my hopes are to train myself to continue living debt free.
Funny thing is I still have the habit of checking the mail, looking for certain monthly bills that I've paid off earlier this year.

I have a roth IRA account and something similar to 401k here called Profuturo. My wife has 401k. We only have one child so once he's off to college we'll eventually sale the house in north Texas and live here on the beach.

Not setting anything aside. I'll just be a Walmart greeter when I'm old.

A guy I worked with has a good plan. He just retired, but before that he got his captain license and his wife has dual citizenship in Panama. So they moved down there and he opened up a fishing charter that caters to Americans. He says it's awesome.

I'm gonna post here in a few years and ask dfwm's advice - that shit is priceless.

Move to St. Thomas in less than 15 years with enough money to live on for the rest of our lives, send kids to college, and play.
Buy a boat, move all tools, and continue working on boats (on the side for networking and something to do).
Relax and live free.

I think part of the problem with retiring is that people forget to live and save to the point in life where they have exceeded their physical ability to enjoy what they do. I've nearly paid off all debt, still save, but make sure to experience life along the way.
