Some coins are worth more than face vaule, but not as currency. Worth more due to rarity(Collectors), or for weight in silver content...

If some of them are crisp they can be worth more based on the serial numbers. Star notes are worth a couple bucks extra, and any radar, bookend, repeaters, etc. can be worth a little more than face as well.

Just sold a binary '76 $2 on eBay a few months ago for $15.
