I know you were hurting man, and weather you say it bothered you or not, it bothered me and I'm sure closed the thoughts of others in that same situation as yours. Others may never reach for help because of the way we react.

Just saying

If you're reaching out to strangers that you know are capable and willing to react that way, then why post up your personal business? If it's going to be a stranger, call up the hotlines that are available or something.

I remember the one in the job forum that people were really egging on and it really got to me. I'm all for defending myself and calling people out for what they are, but telling someone to hurt or injure themselves when they don't seem right in the head is just wrong.
