Just because you like to operate joysticks with your mouth doesn't mean the Houston guy does.Originally posted by kingjason View PostMouth?Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. So it wasn't the "cornered" cop that shot him? Sounds like the partner was trigger happy. And why shoot him in the head? Why not arm, leg, etc. Damn.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostHouston police chief asks for FBI's help in shooting of disabled man

When a cop draws their weapon they are trained to eliminate a threat. This moron thought a two-limbed/wheel chair bound person was a threat. Basically the dipshit wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone and figured no better opportunity then to take it out on a vagrant.Originally posted by UserX View PostSo it wasn't the "cornered" cop that shot him? Wonder if the FBI would have gotten a call if the media and public didn't scream over incidents like this.
Edit: So the guy who shot wasn't the one trapped. His partner could have very simply walked behind the wheelchair and, go with me on this one, it doesn't involve firearms or shooting, took the handles of the chair and pulled the one armed, one legged wheeled people eater away from his partner. No dead nutcase, no FBI, no taxpayer paid investigation or (hopefully) trial and incarceration of a bad cop who wanted to get his gun offI wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Nowhere does the article describe amputee.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostI'm still lost on how a guy who operates a wheelchair with his one good arm and effectively corner and threaten someone. That singular arm either moves the chair, or waves the pen defiantly.
I'm of the opinion that a propoerly administered front kick/face-stomp would have been quite effective.
Is it a complete or partial amputee? I've seen plenty of partial amputees manipulate electric wheelchairs. Has anyone stopped to think this guy could have had a prosthetic? Ever been grabbed with a prosthetic hook?
Just thinking out loud here, but I still think a fully trained officer should have had some other option than pulling a gun on the guy.

I think that it would have been mentioned either by the officer that was attacked or the other officer has the guy been able to use 2 hands, prosthetic or not.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostNowhere does the article describe amputee.

I stand firmly by my, "kick the cripple in the center of his face, the same way you kick in a drug-dealer's door" ideology, BTW.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you.
