that is only a small part of why the food prices are going up. The main reason is inflation, it cost more dollars for the same product. The federal reserve has been printing money like mad for the past few years and it has lowered the dollar big time..It has now started to filter down the system where it is finally starting to be felt by the average person

All that printed money is sitting at the Fed because the banks aren't lending it out.

Seb, ask the old timers what those Federal tax rates were when Federal tax was "all" they paid. Top marginal rates were over 80%.

Well im hoping we can hold it together for at least another 10 years so I can save up enough money to buy 20 acres out east of Greenville & get a fresh water well dug & get Solar panels & Wind Driven fans to store energy & learn to grow vegtables & raise cows & pigs & live off the land.

Cause the last place I want to be is in Dallas or Garland or Rockwall or anywhere populated. Cause just imagine how much your life would change with NO WATER and NO ELECTRIC, People are going to be killing & robbing people for a can of coke or bottle of water. Shit is gonna get rough & rough FAST when the bottom falls out in this country

Those who abide by the quantity theory of money have been screaming for runaway inflation for over 2 years and it's not here. QTM was developed in the late 19th century and is outdated.
