Fort Worth gypsy travlers? Wth

I work in that area, and haven't seen them. .....Strange folks.

I had seen several "groups" before and thought it was just some "under parented" kids. Now that someone made me aware of them, it is rather easy to spot them. Just look for group of 12-18 year olds running across the streets acting like chickens with their heads cut off. Also watch for the cars that have dealer tags, usually something pretty nice and likely a kid driving. Also usually dressed 80's style and being "that kid" in a public setting. We have seen them at Subway, saying "the last time the other guy said it would be free". If you see the woodhouse auto plates you can bet it is them. There are probably 20 vehicles running around here with "buyer" plates (which they are known to print up themselves). The woodhouse dealership is in Nebraska so what are the odds 15-20 people from white settlement are buying 50-60k vehicles from a dealer in NE, all at the same time?


The guy at the station last night told me they "took over" a camp ground by Cherry and White Settlement. He said, "you drive by and there are rows of expensive RV's with new vehicles and a row of paving trucks". I have not been by there to see but he said it is more than obvious that something no-good is going on.

I work in that area, and haven't seen them. The only ones I've seen growing up were carnies. They were Roma, but I never heard any reference before this thread of them being Irish. In my hometown, when the carnival was in the ship mall area, they would come through and empty the shelves of stores...and never buy anything. They stole things that the stores could never figure out how they got them outport he store. If ever questioned, they gang up and get belligerent. Strange folks.

The ones I deal with are Roma Gypsies. Mostly in scrap metal

They drop by my warehouse, from time to time, asking to buy copper for various really stupid reasons...one of which is, "for his kids to make jewelry"...lol. They always try to come up with a reason that you should donate it or sell it to them for half price. Once, we agreed that they would buy some copper for market price...they were supposed to weigh the truck, come pick up the copper, weigh the truck again and pay for the difference in weight. (All with an escort)...the 400++ pound driver tried to get out of the truck when it was weighed with the copper (he was in it during the first weigh in)...he acted like he didn't understand why he needed to get his fat ass back in the truck.

Lady that ran the business we were doing our fundraiser out of said they like to come to restaurants and bitch about the prices on everything and threaten employees and shit when they don't get their way.

Saw that happened a few days ago at the pasta place on white settlement. There was about 10 kids all running around and the owner asked them to go sit down. The "moms" were pissed. Kids even tried to go behind the counter to get candy after the owner removed the candy bowl. The kids had already made 4-5 trips each to the bowl before the owner caught on. When he removed the bowl a lady went and was complaining that "we are paying customers" and it went down hill from there. I talked to another business in the next shopping center and they are going to try to prevent them from coming in all together. Sounds like they have already warn out their welcome this year.


Anyway, now that someone pointed it out. All lot of little things are starting to fall into place. We had seen a few little episodes in various stores and now know that it was mostly the gypsy clans. The best one was a kid eating a candy bar in Walmart as the mom watched. Once the kid was done with the candy bar the mom pointed for her to set the wrapper on a shelf. Then told her "go get another one".

I got to have a dealing with two wenches and their little hell spawn during a Marine Corps Ball fundraiser in that area. Little kids were shit heads the whole time they were there and the two chicks looked "off" like they were inbred or something.

Now, that I think about it; You missed a Range Rover full of them at the 1st Lake Worth GTG. They showed up about 45 minutes after you left and we were waiting to see a fight....half dressed teenage girls were in tow, also.

It took them forever to identify one of the bodies, because no one would come clean. I've often wondered why the city won't crack down on them, but I'm sure it's small town politics and money at the end of the day being their reasoning.

There easy to spot. Next time I see them ill snap a picture the kids are always running around the shopping centers. The adults are always in new trucks normally chev white or black. Women drive high end cars 50k plus.
They always sit alone away from people when they eat normally in the corners.
