not trying to defend them but not all of us are bad, i will admit that about 75% of us are bad.
that's why you will never here of 'good' gypsys.

A. they are the scamers & and con artists.

B. we don't believe in asked mom and dad for money. even a teenage is not considered
a 'real' man, if he can't make money on his own. now when i was 15-16 years old i got a job at albertsons after school to get my first automobile. i got my shit by hard honest work!
So it's obvious they didn't get those expensive cars. at that age doing 'honest' work.

im not going to talk too much about the outer gypsys.
i will tell you a little about me. i will do almost anything for a buck or two, "legally"
back in the mid 90's i did paving. general contract work. cut grass. i've even shoveled shit working at a horse stable. done pant and body work as long as i can remember.
but i've always told everyone i worked for the total cost, and never asked for any money up front. and i guaranteed my work by telling people. that if they didn't like my work at all
they didn't have to pay me a dime. i gave em my real phone number and tag number.
and address that i lived at for almost 20 years...

They drop by my warehouse, from time to time, asking to buy copper for various really stupid reasons...one of which is, "for his kids to make jewelry"...lol. They always try to come up with a reason that you should donate it or sell it to them for half price. Once, we agreed that they would buy some copper for market price...they were supposed to weigh the truck, come pick up the copper, weigh the truck again and pay for the difference in weight. (All with an escort)...the 400++ pound driver tried to get out of the truck when it was weighed with the copper (he was in it during the first weigh in)...he acted like he didn't understand why he needed to get his fat ass back in the truck.

The guy at the station last night told me they "took over" a camp ground by Cherry and White Settlement. He said, "you drive by and there are rows of expensive RV's with new vehicles and a row of paving trucks". I have not been by there to see but he said it is more than obvious that something no-good is going on.

I was asking my buddy here at work about these people yesterday after I read this thread and he mentioned that same RV park. Said his friends dad used to own it then the travelers moved in and bought it out. Filled it with huge expensive RV and raised the fences and put signs all out in front saying stay out and no outlet and stuff like that. He said you never see kids in there either, the parents just take them to the mall and drop them off in hordes for the day.

They pretty much own that entire neighborhood in between Academy and Legacy in White Settlement. Drive down those streets and you will see a shit ton of Escalades, Tahoes, Yukons, etc. You can also spot their houses by the Irish flags hanging in the garage or the glass orbs or Virgin Mary statues in the front yard.
