i had some punk ass dude pull a .45 and shoot two off at the ground at me two or three years ago.. i never posted about it because i wanted to block it out.. basically me trying to help a friend and a craigslist deal that went wrong.

Thanks for comments guys. That is me in the article. My company has been great about the whole thing. We have some cameras in parking lot not sure yet if they got anything. Im just feeling very lucky. A few cm with either shot and I would be missing a leg or dead. He was less then 10 feet away. I think he had bad ammo and that might have helped. It was a .45 casing but the sound was not much more than a .22. Ive fired enough .45 to know my ears should have been ringing from being that close.

Wasn't friendly, IIRC he was shot by a perp outside the house after serving a warrant, it was dark and the judge called it only aggravated assault.

I am 100% sure it was friendly. I THINK he was shot through the door, but am not 100% on that part. The way I recall the story they were clearing a house and Jimmy was coming through a door and the "friend" was on the other side and popped off a round as he was coming through..

Seems like it was a magic bullet and hit two of them too..
