Drivers too. Friend of mine in college was doing well over 100mph in his brand new '89 LX when he decided to wiggle the steering wheel on a bumpy two-lane road. Front wheels went airborne and he ended up going off the road sideways, went airborne again, car flew over a hundred feet while flipping upside down and landed on the drivers a-pillar and flipped several times. He walked away with just scratches.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostYou have to commend Ford. With all these major rollover accidents, they seem to protect the passengers very well.

Hate to hear that. You would think if you were going to bust off some triple digit speeds, it would not be on a road where on coming traffic could happen to get in your way. Hope they pull thru it. I am sure they are fucked up, but hopefully alive and expected to have a full recovery.

Wonder what insurance says about triple digit speeds in the police reports?

I've been doing a lot of varied news searches but can't find anything even mentioning the wreck or Careflight.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostAny word on these kids? A couple of families are having a rough Christmas morning.

Full recovery is relative. Even if they make a "full" recovery they are going to have aches and pains that last the rest of their lives at that speed.Originally posted by SSMAN View PostI am sure they are fucked up, but hopefully alive and expected to have a full recovery.

they will cover it and then jack the rates sky high.Originally posted by SSMAN View PostHate to hear that. Even then, there is a distinct difference between 100mph and 150mph. I've gone that fast on 2 and 4 wheels, and looking back, it was plain stupid to do so on a public road with all of the uncontrollable variables.Originally posted by SSMAN View PostWonder what insurance says about triple digit speeds in the police reports?
