maybe she could pick up some part time job somewhere. not sure i would want to be part of a company who cuts you to 20 hr a week. the economy is churning pretty good for the time being. the high commodity prices will kill the recovery though if they do not come down.

Yeah, she's not staying with this company. She is in her senior year of college for a bachelors in business administration. Hoping she can leverage that and get a nice job with a larger company or at least get her foot in the door somewhere that she can advance using her degree.

Interesting. I am actually looking forward to the $852 every two weeks. Layoffs are right on the horizon over here and I am sure I max out. I am gonna ride UE until I find the right job instead of doing what I did last time. Virtually 7 years of working 84 hours a week, I am not settling for no time in between jobs and taking the first thing that comes along again.

I do have a line on some pipeline work making $140k for 6 months of inconsistent work.

I was on UE for 6 months then ended up taking a 50% pay cut just to get back to work since UE only last 6 months now

Yep thank our socialist in chief. I'm a part time employee but was still able to average about 32-33 hours a week. Now I can't work more than 28 a week thanks to fucking obamacare. I told my boss months ago that this was going to happen and he didn't believe me. We got the call on Tuesday. Bunch of fucking bullshit.
