How many of you have had your own garage sale? Price a toothpaste cap at a nickle and these fucking weirdos will offer you 3 cents for it. Garage sales really bring out some crazies.

My sister had 10 cents on something and these fuckers asked if they could just have it for free. Give me a goddamn dime you broke dick fucks!

I shoot them low ball offers....every once in a while you'll get a bite. An $80 offer for a $200 piece of equipment on CL isn't that crazy

I heard a story about someone at a swap meet who found a NOS black steering wheel for 67 mustang for $50.00. He offered the guy $35.00. Seller countered with $75.00. Guy ended up paying $150.00

LOL. I was at a swap meet looking at a table of stuff. I guy walks up, picked up a chrome trim piece and asked, "how much?". The seller said, "50 cents". The buyer came back with, "I'll give you 25". Me and the seller just looked at each other funny. I was thinking, "This guy looks redneck, but he must be jewish to stand there and haggle over 2 quarters".

You should put "firm" on your price, otherwise you WILL get lowballed. I never buy anything off of Craigslist without some negotiating. It's pretty much expected.
