eco-boost v6 vs. 5.0 V8

I just bought a New 2013 Supercrew XLT F150 from Bigpurd at Grapevine Ford and right now I'm averaging 18mpg both city/hwy and on the hwy I was getting 23mpg so it isn't too bad at all. I haven't put my car hauler up to it yet with the mustang on it to see how it pulls but I will soon enough.

Dude I know picked up an Ecoboost F150, and is only seeing 13-15 mpg mixed. He's pissed! Not sure wtf the problem is.

i said this in another post about the 5.0 vs eco, i have a fx4 which has a lower gear (373) than the others, i didnt know this but i still am averaging 16.5-17.5 around town, maybe 19 on the hwy. My fx2 5.0 getting like the others stated above. my single cab 5.0 on the highway is around 22-23.......i tow with all of them and no problems with any of them hauling, i do prefer the ecoboost to the others.
