PV has some awesome outdoor adventure stuff. I actually believe the name of the company you want to find is called Vallarta Adventures. They had a tour where we took a zodiac boat down the coast to a beach landing, road a truck up the mountains to a dude ranch, jumped on a mule and went further up the trails then zip line'd down the mountain. Was a fucking awesome time.

Sail boat ride out to sea to watch the sun set with a bottle of wine. Also a good time.

Isn't Carnival the line that had all the trouble the last two months like stranded ships adrift in the ocean for 5 days?

oh, you want to talk about upper crust motherfuckers. go on a Princess. my wife and I always sit at large tables for dinner with other mixed couples just to meet folks. I loved our first. It never fails, they go around the table of 8 and ask what you do and where you are from. "I build houses, I am a broker, I am a VP at a bank, etc, etc," Then they get to us. At the time my answer was "3 days ago I was driving convoys in Kabul Afghanistan". lol You could see the humble pie served up like it was main course. They were fun people though and didn't look down on the young couple we were that made about what they did last year. lol
It may be the time of year that I go, but no, the people seem regular. There are generally a few overweight mondays and white trash clogging up the lines, but nothing serious. Yeah, carnival has had trouble recently, but I have never had an issue. The food, the entertainment, the comfort, the staff is all top notch IMO.

I'm poor, I'm going to get an inflatable pool and grab some beers and cook out.

I get 4 weeks this year, first round will be starting on he 12th, heading to Ohio. We rent Thompson Raceway for a day for one of the forums I moderate, just a fun day of drag racing on an old track that's been around for a long time. 3000 mile road trip, drag racing, what's not to like?

I've always seen carnival as more of a party ship - I went on a princess cruise a few years ago and it was pretty lowkey and lots of old people

Do you think it has to do with the port u sail out of? If its the GC buffet line that will put a damper on things

RC booked up out of Galveston for quite awhile

As soon as this house sells, flying to Seattle, picking up my car, and hanging out with an old roommate there. Then driving down the 101 and stopping at pretty much every major city along the way to drink beers with old navy friends. Finally going from San Diego to Vegas, to Phoenix, and onward to Dallas to complete my move/summer road trip.

I've been on several RC crusies without any retarded behavior. I do refuse to ever set foot on a Carnival ship though.
