You could not give me a free trip on Carnival or RC. Well I may take it but I am not gonna be happy about it. I have docked next to a Carnival long enough to see the demographic of the people spilling onto the docks. I much rather enjoy the company on Norwiegan and Princess much more.Originally posted by JC316 View PostAll I can say is FUCK royal caribbean out of galveston. Carnival or nothing. Last cruise I took was a Royal and they fucking sucked. The food was bad, the staff was slow, the entertainment shit, and the debarkation process took 3 hours due to mismanagement.

I had a scare last year with the IRS. They requested a color copy (blown up into 8x11) of my passport. I had to account for every single day from July 2006 - July 2010. They wanted to know what country I was in for each single day. That is hard to do with the travel days while you are in the air. But luckily I was good but not by much. Had they found me in the US for 36 vs 35 I would have been out some serious coin. The kind that makes you fly a plane into an office in Austin kind of money. So I do not poke the bear with as much as a feather these days.Originally posted by hotrod66stang View PostProbably couldn't get away with that anymore. Even the border towns you walk across to require passports as of 2011-2012ish. Not sure how they track your days, though, Keith.
I know the law has been laid down already, but that would never happen. Due to Montezuma's revenge, American bottled water and water jugs can be found everywhere. Since Cozumel is primarily a tourist destination, name brand formulas and every other necessity can also be found in abundance.
I'm going to Port A sometime soon for a quick 3-day trip.
Yellowstone or Yosemite, probably in June.
Late July going to Cozumel to dive, although I've wanted to visit Bolongo Bay since the first pics were posted on here.
Shitty thing is Physical Presence is not how many days you were out of the US or how many days you were in, but how many days you were physically present in a foreign country. International waters (cruise) does not meet and therefore is considered NOT a day in another country of which I have to spend 330 each year (start/stop can be any given day in a rolling 12mths).
I argued the availability of kiddo supplies just long enough to know I was not going to win and forcing my will would not end well. Go ahead, pimp hand weak and all.
We love Cozumel. Where are you staying. Hint: Aura is adults only, get a third floor room with your own pool on the roof. Our last visit there we missed the swingers party by a day.
I need to go back and check out the Bolongo Bay pics.Last edited by KBScobravert; 05-01-2013, 03:07 AM.

Due to a family illness, my plans changed and got pushed back a few months. The new plan is rent a cabin in Colorado, not sure what part as of yet, in October and spend a week with the fam. Plan on doing some hikes and a few other things. Going to be nice to get away and relax after eveything that has happened the last few months.Last edited by R1psycho; 05-01-2013, 01:24 AM.

Done.

Not quite summer but we are going to Hawaii in late September. I'm so stoked! After that I only have 3 more states to cross off my list for visiting all 50 I hope to get them all by end of 2014

Have you looked into the BVI? That's the same week we'll be in the USVI, and the ferry from STT to Tortola is a quick little hop.Originally posted by kbscobravert View PostGuam is a US territory and doesn't count as being out of the US, does it?
I would gladly stay at home for 2 weeks instead of a 8 day fly/out same day and then turn around and leave DFW the day after the trip is over. But you know the drill. Get out of the US for tax reasons and I spent 24 days in the US within the first 2 months of my contract (tax year) start date.
