I totally understand and just hearing the support and that you're sharing this means a lot to us! I truly appreciate it!

    Daughter's remission status=revoked :(

    *Warning-slight long read*

Found out today that we will be restarting my daughter's injections for her JRA (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis). She has been having flare ups and since we can't get it under control, she is having to start back on the shots.

So, I've been wondering how to bring this up to everyone because, if you know you me, I do not like fundraising, asking for money, etc (when it comes to personal issues)...BUT, in light of Aly's remission status being revoked (ARGH!) I am reaching out to my friends and family again.

There is an event that we would really like to be able to attend. It is a weekend for parents of and kids with JRA that will be full of activities/coping strategies for the kids and seminars/education for the parents. The only caveat is that you have to be invited AND the only way to get invited is to raise $2000 from your fundraising for the Arthritis Walk.

We were able to raise over $700 so far, but WE CAN CONTINUE TO RAISE MONEY TO QUALIFY UNTIL JULY 31st! So PLEASE consider donating or feel free to pass the link on to your wall and ask your family and friends to consider supporting us on this journey of learning what we can do to help my baby girl deal with this debilitating disease. Our personal page for donations is listed below. Again, FEEL FREE TO SHARE this link-we could use all the help we can get!

Thank you to our friends and family for supporting us so far and I truly appreciate those who were involved in the walk. You have no idea how much it meant to see you guys up and out early on a Saturday to help Aly.
