I have told everyone that I ever trained that if they see me screw up and are asked, you better tell them the truth, because I am going to. Shit I call my boss all the time and go uhhhhhh yeah I may of screwed that up, or that felon I was chasing caused me to cuss, etc.

Jason, you have seen how I normally interact with Matt and I want you to take this with that in mind. I fully respect officers like yourself and thank you for your service and taking the time to provide information in a patient manner without ever coming off as covering for bad cops or trying to lay blame on anyone who doesn't wear a badge.

Ah but I have. I even have a nice piece of paper on the wall saying I do. I am a house walking through expert with a super tactical ribbon as well.

Not your neighbor, just joe walking through your house. You don't know me, never seen me before but I claim some group you've never met has given me authority to walk through your house and decide if I want to drag you off to jail based on things I may or may not find. Walking through my house without a warrant is NOT your job.
