While the good dr may exercise political correctness, I don't. When my wife was pregnant with our son, I was a prick. She was around 155 after the pregnancy and I was brutal with her. She was around 120 when we got married. My comments continued to be made and she began to work out. Now she leads boot camps, personally trains and tips the scales at around 124. And I did get laid.

Just out of curiosity.... say she put on a good ... oh - 30 lbs since you got married. How would you approach that one? Not to say she got "fat" but just beefed up a tad.

I will say this, though.. I've been married 13 years. She's not the same physical person I married, but shit - neither am I. Fortunately we've stayed pretty close to it though...

I envision you giving that as "medical advice".

Unfortunately, I am not this blunt in real life. And, political correctness keeps people from saying the necessary words. I am not their family doc so I only take care of their emergencies. I will counsel them on their weight and what it is doing to their bodies, but they get real offended so its easier to just see them and move on.
