A restraining order isn't going to do any good. A protective order is what you'd need, but I don't see a judge granting it, thus far.

A restraining order isn't worth the paper it's written on - it can only be enforced by the court that issued it.

A protective order wouldn't be applicable in this case. Anything done toward the OP wouldn't be family violence.

The fact of the matter is simple. His is pissed, but he loves his wife so he can't direct it to her, so you get it. Immature as shit, but there it is. Oh, and never put shit in writing to a married woman or you might get your ass shot.
