We almost bought a house (on Arbor Mill) in the area where they are happening. We got 2 weeks from closing and the only thing we were waiting on was the appraisal. The appraisal came back 50k low. The house had a 60x80 shop and the appraiser gave the shop a $20k value. Seller would not come down and we would not go up from appraisal so we walked. We said at the time. "Some things happen for a reason". Now we are glad it did not work out! I just hate it for all those that are affected. It is probably going to take a toll on the homes and property values.
