Yes, it does. This thread was posted last November, long before this tech was built in to a phone that came out 2-3 months ago.

I know that, I'm pointing out that I would expect the iPhone to hurt market share more than plastc. It shows the price associated with being late to market.

No one will buy a device to consolidate wallet space when the product in itself can be eliminated leaving jus a phone to carry.

Hopefully they licensed some IP at least.

Nfc has been on phones long before apple decided to implement it. Iirc, blackberry was the first.
