went to work yesterday , left at 3:30 am, 26 miles/1.5 hours and I made it to work, about the same for the trip home. They wouldn't shutdown today so I've spent a couple hours on 35w headed north and the highway was deadstop.


For the person who said they don't feel sorry for those people stuck at 35 in Sanger, I know some people who live over there who work in Denton who still had to go to work. Pretty sure most people stuck in that shit aren't risking it cause of a damn game.

Had a friend where he and his family, 4 women, all stuck in their F250 for 18 hours solid somewhere in Tennessee once. Luckily it was diesel and he kept it running, but he said some of the cars and rigs had frozen to the pavement. He talked like it wasn't that bad, but he must be more patient than me. 18 hours of bitchin and moanin and someone having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes, sounds like a personal hell.
