Not off the grid, they are in another country (Belize, Cuba, New Zealand, etc). So unless the judge rules the police can freeze moms bank accounts, they are living the life

The judge knew he couldn't keep it clean for ten years, and knew that when he fucked up as an adult, the current probation status of these charges would fuck him royally, instead of harshly punishing him as a minor and it coming off of his record.

I haven't done any research, but someone at work was saying the max penalty he could have received was 2 years in jail as a minor.

ya people dont understand that the judge was a genius. No way the kid wouldn't touch a drink for 10years and since he is 21 they can throw the book at him for 20 years plus.
